Our Premium Grade 14/15% Liquid Chlorine is up to 40% stronger (and thus more effective) than alternatives stocked by some of our rivals! When comparing product, ensure you check the % strength.
This liquid chlorine can be used for routine control of bacteria and algae in swimming pools. It may also be used for shock or oxidising as and when required, due to it's relative rapid reactivity.
Product Features:
- Sodium Hypochlorite is used in swimming pools for water disinfection and oxidation.
- Microorganisms cannot build up any resistance to Sodium Hypochlorite.
- Sodium Hypochlorite is effective against Legionella bacteria and bio film, in which Legionella bacteria can multiply.
- The reaction of Sodium Hydroxide with Chlorine Gas produces Hypochlorous Acid. 'Active Chlorine' is then formed in water.

Use as directed for routine control of algae and bacteria.
Ideal free chlorine levels are maintained at approximately 2-3 mg/l (ppm).
Adjust pH to between 7.2 - 7.6 before bathing commences.
Regular checks of the above pool parameters are recommended using a pool water testing kit.
Dosage:
Designed to be dosed via an automatic dosing unit, but if required, it can be added in solution to the pool directly over the return inlets and leave the filter running to ensure even distribution.
NOTE: full personal protective equipment must be used when handling this product.
